I'm dedicated to helping you raise great digital kids.

THESELITTLEWAVES.NET is the place to get inspiration, no-nonsense guides, actionable ready-to-use tools, and real scripts that you can use to connect with your children because of technology, not despite it.

I created this space for those of us who are parenting and teaching digital kids without ever having been them and still know with every fiber of our being that we can teach them what they need to know.

Because how we act online is akin to how we act in person.

And that, my Sweet Valley High reading, Friends loving, Bon Jovi adoring (yes, still!) friends, we definitely understand.

This is the space where I share all of the details of my own experiences parenting and teaching through the very same things that you are.

I only share strategies that I have tried, tested, tweaked, fixed, and improved upon and made not only work, but made 100% replicable and I will always share everything I know and learn about this topic with you.

Why?

Because success here means your children understanding how to be balanced, safe, wise, and kind online users. That means something to me.

And I believe that we have a long way to go with the state of the internet for us and for our children.

This is my passion project—I'll tell you more in a minute how it came to be that I wake my husband up in the middle of the night to discuss things like this.

Things like not just what our children need to know about new apps; but what we need to understand as well.

Not just what to look for to see if our children are following rules; but how to actually help them maneuver this new terrain in a relationship boosting way.

And bottom line? Not how to keep our children away from the internet (because that's not realistic); but how can we teach our children what they need to know about how the internet is meant to be used.

If you're looking for what these things are and are interested in how to teach them to your children in a way that keeps your relationship at the forefront, then you're in the right place.
